Am I eligible?

Eligible voters for municipal elections must be:

  • A Canadian citizen and at least 18 years old.
  • A resident OR a property owner or tenant OR the spouse of an owner or tenant in the municipality.

What ID to bring

What ID to bring

Show one piece of acceptable ID with your name and qualifying East Ferris address. Photo ID is not required.

  • Your voter information card cannot be used as ID.
  • A passport cannot be used as ID because it does not show your address.

Electronic ID

  • You may show a document on your phone if it was issued electronically (for example, a digital phone bill).
  • A photo or scan of a paper document is not accepted unless the document itself was issued electronically.

Examples of acceptable ID

  • Ontario photo card, driver’s licence, or vehicle permit (vehicle portion).
  • Bank or credit card statement, cancelled cheque, or pay stub.
  • Tax assessment, property tax notice, lease, or rental agreement.
  • Utility bill for hydro, water, gas, telephone, or cable TV.
  • Insurance policy or statement.
  • Documents from the Government of Canada, Ontario, an Ontario municipality, or a Band Council.
  • WSIB benefits statement, CPP/OAS statements, or CNIB card.
  • Long-term care residence document or post-secondary campus residence document.

Advance polls

Advance voting at the East Ferris Municipal Office, 25 Taillefer Road, Corbeil — October 14–20, 2026:

  • Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, October 16 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
